WHAT VACCINES ARE REQUIRED?

We require Rabies, Distemper (DHPP), and Bordetella. Please allow for 5 days after your dog receives the Bordetella vaccination before bringing them in. We also require your dog to be on a flea and tick preventative MAY - SEPTEMBER.

It is your responsibility to make sure your dog is up to date by a licensed veterinarian and that we have their current shot record. The best way to do that is by uploading their shot records to your GINGR account BEFORE they come play or board with us.

CAN MEDICATIONS AND SUPPLEMENTS BE GIVEN?

All medications and supplements must be in the original containers with required dosing. Pharmaceutical prescriptions must come from veterinarian with written dosage. Expired medications and supplements will not be administered.

WHY ARE WE RESERVATIONS ONLY ?

All check-ins and check-outs are made by appointment only via our online reservation system. 

Your reservation is important to us so that we can offer the highest quality of customer service to you and your dog. It allows us to take time with checking in with every dog every day to ensure health and safety. Half day reservations are for 5 hours or less from drop off time. Any half day reservation exceeding five hours will be charged for a full day.

WHY CAN I ONLY DROP OFF MY DOG IN THE MORNING?

It is our number one goal to provide a safe and stress-free environment for every dog that plays with us. It is our experience that dogs that arrive late (even the nicest of dogs) are disruptive to the positive social environment, causing stress and sometimes conflict with the other dogs. 

DO WE TAKE PUPPIES?

We require all dogs be up to date on their vaccines and be in good health. If your puppy is cleared by a vet to be in a setting with multiple dogs, they can play! Although most puppies do great, if your puppy is destructive or has excessive accidents they might need to wait until they’re a little older to play or board with us.

We do accept intact dogs under 12 months or older with permission. Intact males and females are kept in separate groups. Beginning March 1, 2021, there will be a surcharge for all intact dogs:

WHAT IS GINGR?

GINGR is our software program. It is how we book reservations, track vaccinations, store yours and your dog’s personal information and so much more. All clients are required to provide an active email address and are encouraged to get comfortable using the program. It is incredibly user-friendly and safe. We can save your credit card online without ever storing actual card numbers and there is 24/7/365 monitoring, firewall, and database security. You can make a reservation request, update a phone number, or add an additional emergency contact from your mobile device or desktop. 

WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF DAYCARE OR BOARDING?

While most of our guests board with us and never have an issue, there are risks to taking your dog into any setting where there are multiple dogs and open play. Boarding your dog is just like sending your child to daycare with other kids. Accidents happen, and there is a possibility they can get sick or hurt. It is your responsibility to research and be aware of all the risks. Some of these risks include but are not limited to: nips, bites, scratches, illness, injury, allergies, canine cough or stress-related illness (diarrhea, dehydration, UTI’s, etc.). While we do everything in our power to prevent these, they still happen. Please see our CARE & AUTHORIZATION form to be fully aware of what you are responsible for.

Canine Cough: Canine cough is a broad term covering any infectious or contagious condition of dogs where coughing is one of the major clinical signs. It is also referred to as Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease. Several viruses and bacteria can cause canine cough, often at the same time. Common clinical signs include a loud cough often describe as a 'goose honk', runny eyes and nose, swollen tonsils, wheezing, lack of appetite, and depressed behavior. Canine cough is very contagious, and dogs can readily transmit it by casual contact such as sniffing each other when on a walk, playing, or sharing water dishes. Your veterinarian will help you determine what methods of treatment are best for your dog.

OVERNIGHT BOARDING: WHY DO I HAVE TO BRING MY DOG’S FOOD?

Changing your dog’s diet abruptly can upset their digestive system especially in a new environment. This can lead to your dog feeling ill, which adds stress to their stay and cause them to be uncomfortable or accident prone. Please make sure you DO NOT change your dog’s diet before they come to board with us. If your dog excessively soils their kennel, a cleaning fee could be applied to their bill and a bath charge may occur.
